MY STORY & PHILOSOPHY
It all started when I looked at the vintage buffet I had in my dining room. It was a piece I'd purchased at an auction about 15 years ago. I thought to myself, "I wonder what this would look like with some paint and new hardware"? So, I gave it a shot. Since then, I've reimagined and reworked a number of pieces such as small accent tables, dressers and even a large armoire.

When I decided I wanted to do this as a hobby, I vowed to always keep some of the original charm and character of a piece, so customers can see what I initially saw. Typically, when I choose a piece, I pick something that's usually overlooked or unable to go through a full restoration due to its overall condition. My goal is to give it new life.

People often ask, "How do you know what color or what hardware to choose"? This may sound silly or ostentatious, but I let the piece tell me what it wants. When I see a particular piece I'd like to refinish, I'll study it until I know what it wants to become. I like "simple". I aspire for each piece I refinish to be a timeless addition to someone's home or office.
